Ympress® Laser is hot-rolled steel of a very homogeneous, consistent quality with exceptional flatness, an excellent surface and very good formability. These properties make Ympress Laser ideally suited for fast and efficient laser cutting on unmanned cutting machines. The flatness is even guaranteed until after cutting. In addition, Ympress Laser has been specially developed to avoid burrs, meaning that hardly any post-processing is required. This enables fast machine set-up and trouble-free machining at high speed, even after laser cutting. The superior performance of Ympress Laser also ensures higher productivity when bending than conventional steel qualities. Ympress Laser products are available from stock, supported by technical support from Tata Steel and MCB.
