MCB recently received a bronze medal from EcoVadis. A nice appreciation for the steps that we have been taken so far in the field of sustainability.
EcoVadis is an international platform that provides insight into the level of sustainability off all kinds of players in production chains. More than 100,000 companies worldwide have already been assessed. The assessment helps companies choose their suppliers based on their sustainability performance.
EcoVadis assesses participants’ performance in the areas of environment, ethics, labor and human rights and sustainable procurement.
Various departments within MCB have worked together to get the bronze medal. Our score puts us in the top 12% of all assessed companies in our sector. MCB scores higher than average on all four themes.
In the coming period, we will be working on our action plan to go for the silver medal. We expect to achieve that this year. This is how MCB continuously improves, also in the field of sustainability.
