From September 2025 on, lead may no longer be used in the production of aluminium due to European laws and regulations. In anticipation of this, MCB has expanded its range with the lead- and tin-free alloy EN AW-2033. This quality is now available on the web portal. Click here to view the options.
Grade EN AW-2033 has excellent machinability and high mechanical properties. You can maintain the same machine parameters as with alloy EN AW-2011, for which this grade is an alternative. In addition, this lead- and tin-free grade is RoHS & Reach compliant.
