Being able to place your orders quickly and efficiently is increasingly important in today's trading environment. The link between your ERP system and MCB's ordering system makes this possible. The EDI link allows you to digitally generate cost estimates, place orders and then create journal entries and verify invoices in your own ERP system. Helping you to save valuable time and reduce errors.
Benefits EDI
The EDI link offers you many benefits:
- Cost savings
- Reduced risk of error
- A more efficient purchase process, shorter lead times and reduced inventory levels
- MCB prices which are always current
- 24/7 access to MCB’s calculation and order service
“The thing that appealed to us most about using EDI was that we no longer had to download MCB's price lists at regular intervals. Now we can assume that the prices for materials in the ERP system are always correct.”
Nicol van Hoof, Van Hoof Groep
Full EDI link
A full EDI link between your ERP system and MCB allows you to generate cost estimates, place orders, create journal entries and invoice completely digitally. This link immediately makes the data associated with your order available for processing. So you can keep your customer fully informed of the current status during the order process.
Simple connection
Setting up an EDI link to your current ERP system is a simple task. MCB offers 3 different ways of ordering via EDI:
- We collaborate with Plan-de-CAMpagne, MKG, Ridder and ISAH. A module that allows you to order directly from MCB has been developed for each of these ERP packages.
- If you use a different ERP package, we can arrange a link to MCB without problems. We also work with a partner which can engineer a link regardless of the system or data format you use.
- You can also link your ERP system directly to MCB's system via the message flow which MCB has developed.
MCB made it possible to order digitally through webservices as well as through EDI. Read more about webservices.
